Testimonials

NFL Super Bowl Champion & Sports Analyst, Roland Williams -- 9/3/2010

While working with our charity, Mr. Harrell was an outstanding asset in many different aspects of our organization and performed tasks that were crucial to the successful operation of our efforts in the US Virgin Islands territory.... I believe Mr. Harrell would be an asset to any organization or opportunity he wishes to engage. I highly recommend him for consideration for partnership and look forward to working with him again in the future.

A.C. Burgess, Special Assistant to the Director of VI Lottery - June 2010

In the final analysis, good prevails over evil ... those of us whom work closely with the concept and the man himself [Sam Harrell]... should be taken an active role so that the agenda, the true agenda of the program moves forward in its intended direction. Black males and females within this [USVI] community are an endangered species. Our job is to protect all children of the Virgin Islands, the majority of whom happen to be children of color.

Eloise Gentry, President/CEO, Urban League of Northwest Indiana (ULNWI)
2008: “Mr. Harrell discussed a number of points, including how to create sustainment for non-profits, while engaging communities to support educational initiatives that benefit at-risk youths. Both of these points spoke directly to the heart of the issues confronting our organization and community. Most noteworthy was Mr. Harrell’s level of commitment to helping our youth . . . That kind of commitment is rare these days!”

Wynn M. Greene, COO, Urban League of the Pikes Peak Region

2008: "Sam Harrell and UES made it possible for us to participate as a Colorado state approved supplemental education services provider. We could not do it without them. Thanks UES for giving us a chance to empower the community we serve and change lives.”

Ms. Jacquel Dawson, US VI Community Activist - August 2010

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for my participation in the YLA Football Skills Camp.  It had a tremendous and positive impact on so many of our youths here in the territory and I want to personally thank you....  It was great and overwhelming.....

I also would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Samuel Harrell for becoming your YLA On Island Representative.   Sam is patient, thoughtful, and solution oriented.  Most importantly he is committed and remains to be an extremely hard worker.  He did a fantastic job and I personally give him a standing ovation for his accomplishment within your organization

Dr. Carole B. Ricotta, Education Consultant

2008: Sam Harrell's compassion for students with needs and his recognition of the importance of the learning process drives his efforts to reach students who might otherwise fall through the cracks or never reach their potential. He has a sincere drive to reach these students and continues to seek out resources to do so.  He has an in-depth understanding of the “at-risk” factors for students located in lower economic areas, students with disabilities, students from single parent homes, students with learning problems, students who have a “need,” and students with diversity issues.

Joe Wilson, Executive Director, Hawaiian Pacific Youth
2008:  “Samuel is a person with excellent work ethics, strong communication skills, trustworthy, consistent, reliable, culturally sensitive, his word is like gold and a finisher of setting goals.”

2010:  I know Sam now for a few years and also gone into business with him.  I support Sam because he wouldn't throw away all his hard work for greed of money or taking away something that wasn't rightfully his. I support Sam being a person of integrity, honest, helpful, willing, loves his church, hard worker, giving, caring, family man, great business person and a true friend.”

Titus Gardner - Facility Group, Inc. of Phoenix Arizona
I have known Sam Harrell both personally and professionally for more than 15 years.
During that time, I have observed his level of commitment, integrity and tenacity as he has dealt with varying issues with seemingly unshaken resolve.  In business he demonstrated a strong business development, management, and marketing capability that enabled him to transform a small investment into millions within just a few years. His clientele has included such organizations as, the City of Colorado Springs, Wal-Mart, the Colorado Springs Police and Fire Departments, and many others.

As one of my mentors, I have often said that “Sam taught me a lot in the building maintenance industry.” Although I have learned many things since, what I learned from him serves as the foundation for my understanding. Specifically, he taught me how to manage multiple unique projects and the human and material resources necessary to assure quality and customer satisfaction. I learned how to plan and schedule those resources for optimum efficiency and profitability. Using estimating tools that he developed himself I also learned how to walk a job site and put together bids with confidence.

Yes, I have a personal stake in supporting Sam as he works to achieve his goals, but that’s only because I believe his approach to business and life is worthy of duplication.  In my case, applying what I have learned from him has set me on a path that not only enabled me to understand the interworking of an industry; it has resulted in me becoming successful in the building maintenance industry.
